Frequently asked questions
Which tube fits my machine and mask?
Standard tubing uses a common cuff and fits most machines and masks. Heated and machine-specific tubes (like ResMed's ClimateLineAir or F&P's ThermoSmart) are matched to particular machines, so check your machine model against this product's listing, or ask our team and we'll confirm the right tube.
How often should I replace tubing?
As a general guide, every 6 to 12 months, or sooner if you notice cracks, tears or a smell that won't wash out. Small holes cause leaks and pressure loss that can be hard to spot, so replacing tubing on schedule keeps your pressure accurate.
What is heated / climate tubing and do I need it?
Heated (climate) tubing warms the air on its way to your mask, which reduces condensation — the "rainout" that leaves water droplets in the tube — and makes humidified air more comfortable, especially in cooler rooms. It's not essential, but if you get rainout or find the air cold or drying, it makes a real difference. It only works with machines designed for it.
How do I clean and dry tubing?
Wash weekly in warm soapy water with a gentle, fragrance-free soap, rinse it through, and hang it to air-dry out of direct sunlight — hanging it over a rail or door lets the water run out. A tube brush makes cleaning easier. Make sure it's fully dry before use.
