Description
The Philips Respironics DreamWear is a simple strap with Velcro on each side but is vital to tightening the mask to prevent leakage and to get a good seal. The headgear is only one size but has special antigrip material on the inside to prevent the headgear from riding up the back of your head so it is important that is it put on the right way up. The logo on the strap is the best indication of the correct way it should be.
This is not designed to be used with the Plastic loops on the new version of the DreamWear mask. If you don't like the plastic loops they can be removed and this headgear is compatible.

It holds the mask on your head, with some issues if you have long hair. The biggest problem is that it loses its stretch pretty quickly, which means the velcro straps have to cross over each other at the back. This means its loose enough to leak or else squashing your face to make it tight enough. I question the wisdom of using that material, and would experiment with making my own if I had the skills. It makes it overpriced for something so small that needs to be replaced more often than I can afford.
