Philips Respironics have created a lithium ion battery kit that is designed for all their product range including CPAP and BIPAP machines. This is designed for people in many different situations who need access to power but can’t access mains power. The battery kit can be plugged and charging whilst the unit is operational and if the power was to stop from the mains due to a power failure it will switch to the battery kit and keep running.
Many people also like to camp and can’t use their CPAP machine due to lack of power. This is now possible with the lithium ion battery kit.
The kit includes a power pack designed for their DreamStation range of machine as well as the Philips Respironics System One range. It even comes with an adaptor designed for the previous 50 series of machines.
Designed for short usage it can be recharged many times and will power your machine for approximately 14 hours when not using a humidifier. We recommend turning the humidifier and heated tube off to reduce the power consumption
