The Pilairo Q is an updated version of the previously successful Pilairo. The Pilairo Q has garnered a loyal following. The diffuser has been placed at the exhalation port. This helps in making the exhilation port extremely quiet. This new interface from Fisher & Paykel features a new adjustable headgear that offers more stability. It also helps in minimizing stretching. Additionally, since the package comes with two types of headgear (Adjustable and the previous StretchWise), as a patient, you are free to choose which one best suits you. This offers more flexibility.
The Pilairo Q provides compact headgear as well as an Airpillow™ Seal that self-inflates. The combination of these two features allows for freedom of movement. The seal itself is made from soft and effective material. It works by gently expanding in the nostrils. The seal ensures that you won’t keep having to make adjustments to the headgear. The headgear is made from soft latex.
This interface only comes in one size that fits all and includes stabilizers that help provide support.
